As we know, we all need each other; we established this in the last post. We understood that we need each other to thrive, not to simply survive. Until the human race begins to understand how much we need each other, we will still have problems. Everyone believes they can do everything by themselves because people love to be independent. Furthermore, they love to do things their way and refuse to listen to other people’s way because it doesn’t align with their way. We all face this. However, this mentality will only limit our capacity to thrive and flourish. We may be able to flourish to a degree, although, by ourselves, there is only so far that we can go. With others, on the other hand, we can flourish to a great capacity.
We know that more heads are better than one because, in the areas that you lack, there will always be someone who has that skill. Similarly, you have the talents and skills that other people need. Unfortunately, there are not enough hours in the day for you to do everything by yourself, so this is why you have to work in teams. In schools, you work in teams; in the workspace, you work in teams. The idea behind this shows that we all need each other, as we cannot accomplish the bigger goals by ourselves. When we begin to realise this, we will see the value in other people. Even if they look different from us, talk differently, act differently, are from a different background, they are still valuable. If everyone were the same, innovation could never occur because we would all be limited by the same thinking patterns. However, we have been given the freedom to be different and think differently, and in unity with our differences, we can accomplish great things. We need each other to flourish, and when we understand that, we won’t be quick to dismiss people but instead embrace them.
As a Living Piece, we all have a part to play. You may be a piece by yourself, but together we create the bigger picture, the Masterpiece.
